主题：Lenovo Workshop – Experience share for career development & looking for a job
主讲人：Hong Miao, Sophie Zhu, Maggie Guan
Sr. Manager of Innovation and Change Management, corporate trainer, facilitator. Started working in Lenovo since 2006, specialized in new business development, end to end business operations, process design, cross-culture communication and cross-functional leadership, driving cross-functional efficiency improvement and key business results.
Executive Director of Global Procurement in Lenovo, with 20 years working experience. She has a diversity team from North America, Australia, Japan, China, UK, and Brazil, managing over 5000 suppliers globally. She is passionate about driving business transformation as a value-added Procurement expertise and coaching people to be successful.
Worldwide Project Manager, Lenovo Datacenter Group. Diversified education and work experience in the US, UK, Switzerland and China. 12 years in the IT industry. Global cross functional leadership position in Sales, Finance, Business Operations, Marketing, Project Management etc. Maggie’s most recent role was the Chief of Staff to Lenovo Senior Vice President of the Worldwide PC Business, by then Lenovo first time became Worldwide #1 PC ranking (also in Commercial and Consumer sub-category), few years after Lenovo acquired the IBM PC Division.

-Current Occupation: Global Field Escalation Manager at Cisco Systems
-Bio: Joann graduated from NC State University with a degree in Marketing and Analytics in May 2017. After graduation, she started her first job out of college in the Deal Management Organization within Cisco. Then she moved into her current role project managing major escalations for Cisco customers alongside with the engineering team and the sales team. As a person fond of company, she likes to travel, give back to the community and watch Corgi videos.
Panelist: Yayun Jin:(Microsoft)
-Bio:Yayun Jin is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Edward P. Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at NC State University. Before that, she earned a BS in physics in 2015 from Shandong University in China. Yayun will join Microsoft (Seattle, WA) as a data scientist in July 2019. She is passionate and active in supporting and promoting local and online professional technology networking.
Jim Li: (Nokia)
-Bio: Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts at Beijing Foreign Languages University, a Bachelor of Science with Mathematics at the University of Prince Edwards Island,
Bachelor of Science with Computer Science at Dalhousie University,
and Master of Computer Engineering at Carleton University. He works as an engineer, team lead, technical lead in
software design, software test automation, solution test, system test, customer focus test etc.

He is a Vice President in the Credit Suisse’s Global Credit Risk organization which is part of the Chief Operating Officer team. Andrew is also heavily involved in campus recruiting and is designated as Credit Suisse’s NC State Campus Captain. Andrew holds a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is currently enrolled in NC State’s MBA program. He has worked for several high profile companies, including Arthur Andersen, KPMG, Carnival Cruises, Duke Energy and most recently Credit Suisse. In Andrew’s spare time he enjoys boating with his wife and five kids.
